Why We Walk

The Walk to U-Turn Parkinson’s is more than just a fundraising event. It’s a community effort to support those living with Parkinson’s disease. All funds raised will go towards U-Turn Parkinson’s free programs and services, empowering individuals in their pursuit of wellness and a better quality of life.

I use a walker/wheelchair, can I still attend the event?

Yes! The entire walk is on paved road and unobstructed for wheelchairs, walkers, canes or other mobility aids. The walk loop is about half a kilometre and can be completed once, twice or as many times as you’d like!

Is there a registration fee?

No – this is a free, all ages event. However, registration is required. Please register here!

Lunch is included?

Yes – we would love to have you join us for lunch after the walk! Lunch is sponsored by Bagel Smith. A vegetarian option will be available. Please ensure all members of your family/group are registered so that we can order enough lunch!

Is there a Donation/Pledge Form for Cash/Cheque/E-transfer donations?
