Assessments for Empower-U
Prior to participating in In-Person Empower-U classes participants are required to complete a one-on-one assessment to determine which classes may be the best fit for them. The simple assessment takes approximately one hour and includes a discussion about health history to ensure we provide appropriate modifications as necessary, functional exercises to assess physical ability, balance exercises to determine fall risk, and a cognitive assessment to determine the level of independence for class. All information is kept confidential and only relevant information will be shared with class coaches for your safety and optimal experience.
For assessments, please wear comfortable clothing for exercise and clean sneakers. Don’t forget your medication and water!
